"Just Terrific"

"The staff is wonderful; everybody has just been very kind and helpful here, and it seems like they just can't do enough for you, so it's been a great experience!"

"I learned about EECP from my cardiologist. About six months ago, right before I retired, he had mentioned this, and it sounded like an interesting proposition; I just didn't have enough time to do this or was able to commit to it while I was still working. But after I retired, I thought, "This is something I probably want to do!"

The symptoms that I had before I came over here: I would have a burning [sensation] through my upper chest and a kind of an achiness in my back, and I really wanted to see if there was anything I could do to get rid of that. And I think being here at EECP, it's really subsided; in fact, I started noticing a lot of difference after about the first two or three weeks.

The activities that I have noticed that I've been able to do a lot easier since I've been here is just my everyday getting around. I like to walk, and I feel that I can do that a lot better now. I really want to up my exercise regimen and start bicycling too, and I think I'll be able to do that much better once this is over.

The treatment here has been just terrific; everybody kind of makes you feel very, very comfortable. The first time I got on the bed, it was a little scary (for about the first minute or so) then I thought, "well, it's not such a bad thing at all!" It really isn't as bad as it looks (if you haven't gone through it), and what I would suggest to everybody--what I've done to make the time go quicker: find yourself a good miniseries and start watching it and then you'll have something to look forward to every morning when you come here to get treated.

My experience at Legacy has been terrific. The staff is wonderful; everybody has just been very kind and helpful here, and it seems like they just can't do enough for you, so it's been a great experience!"
